Federal Parliament meetings scheduled for today
KATHMANDU: Both houses of the Federal Parliament are scheduled to meet today.
The House of Representatives will convene at 1 PM, where Minister for Industry, Commerce, and Supplies, Damodar Bhandari, is set to present the Export and Import (Regulation) Bill, 2081 for discussion.
The National Assembly meeting is scheduled for 1:15 PM. Minister for Health and Population, Pradeep Paudel, will respond to oral questions related to his ministry.
During the session, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli will present the Annual Report of the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) for Fiscal Year 2080/81.
Additionally, the following ordinances will be tabled for decision:
- Ordinance to Amend Some Nepal Acts Related to Good Governance and Public Service Delivery, 2081
- First Amendment to the Financial Procedures and Fiscal Responsibility Ordinance, 2081
- First Amendment to the Privatization Ordinance, 2081
- Ordinance to Amend Some Nepal Acts Related to Economic and Business Environment Reform and Investment Promotion, 2081
- Ordinance to Amend Some Nepal Acts Related to Cooperatives, 2081
