KATHMANDU: On the third day of the week, Tuesday, the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index dropped by 30 points.
The NEPSE index fell by 30.36 points, reaching 2,846.30 points.
Today, a total of Rs 12.94 billion worth of transactions took place, with 198 companies seeing a decline in share prices.
Meanwhile, 41 companies experienced an increase in share prices, and 5 companies saw no change in their stock values.
All sub-sector indices showed a decline today, with the most significant drops occurring in the finance and production sectors. Both sectors saw a decrease of over 2%.
Shares of Sindhu Development Bank dropped by 10%, while shares of Guardian Micro Life surged by 10%. Himalayan Reinsurance led the market in trading volume.
