Former Crown Prince Paras Shah’s health improves

KATHMANDU: Former Crown Prince Paras Shah, who was receiving treatment at Norvic Hospital in Thapathali following a heart attack on Sunday, has shown signs of improvement.
Ajay Mishra, the hospital spokesperson, confirmed that Shah’s health condition has improved and he has been moved to a regular ward from intensive care.
Shah has a history of heart-related complications. In September 2023, he was hospitalised at HAMS Hospital in Mandikhatar due to a heart attack.
Previously in 2019, Shah underwent treatment at Norvic Hospital in Thapathali following a heart attack.
In 2015, an implantable cardioverter-defibrillator, a special device powered by a battery that helps treat irregular heartbeats called arrhythmias, was successfully placed in his heart.
He also survived a massive cardiac arrest in 2013 while he was in Bangkok.
Earlier, in Sept 2007, he had undergone an angioplasty at Norvic Hospital following a mild heart attack.
