KATHMANDU: Senior leader of CPN (Unified Socialist), Jhalanath Khanal, has accused the current government of carrying a “bundle of crises,” stating that a recently issued ordinance is one such example.

Speaking at a press conference organized by Nepal Press Organization in Dhanusha on Tuesday, Khanal questioned the necessity of introducing an ordinance.

He emphasized that laws can be formulated through the constitutional process and that no one has obstructed normal lawmaking procedures.

Khanal argued that the government has failed to justify the need for the ordinance, which is why his party cannot support it.

Furthermore, he blamed the government’s shortcomings for the rising trend of youth migration, alleging that it is actively facilitating manpower companies to “sell people” abroad.
