KATHMANDU: Global IME Bank Limited (GIBL) is set to organize its first-ever “Global IME AI/ML Hackathon,” focusing on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML).
The competition targets students, startups, developers, data scientists, and researchers with an interest in technology, aiming to develop innovative banking services based on the latest technological advancements.
This hackathon will also explore potential services in digital banking and solutions to related challenges.
Participants will present their ideas focused on topics specified by the bank.
The top team will not only receive a cash prize but will also be given the opportunity to collaborate with the bank.
GIBL is committed to promoting tech-friendly financial services and believes the hackathon will play a significant role in encouraging innovative ideas to enhance digital banking services.

The competition will be held in two phases: the first phase will involve an online paper presentation, and the second phase will feature an onsite hackathon.
