KP Oli Cup: Bishal Shrestha named best goalkeeper

KATHMANDU: Machhindra Football Club’s Bishal Shrestha has been named the Best Goalkeeper of the KP Oli Cup Football Tournament.

Shrestha played a crucial role in securing Machhindra’s third consecutive title.

He was also the team’s goalkeeper in the previous two victorious editions.

For his outstanding performance, he received a cash prize of Rs 50,000 and a Yamaha 125cc motorcycle.

In the final held at Dasharath Stadium on Monday, Machhindra defeated Tribhuvan Army Club 2-0 to claim their third straight title.
