Weather Update: Light rain & snow likely in some regions
The rest of the country has mostly clear weather, with light rainfall occurring in a few places in Sudurpashchim Province.
KATHMANDU: The Meteorological Forecasting Division has reported a partial influence of a western low-pressure system in Nepal.
Currently, Karnali and Sudurpashchim provinces are experiencing partly to generally cloudy conditions, while Lumbini Province has partial cloud cover.
The rest of the country has mostly clear weather, with light rainfall occurring in a few places in Sudurpashchim Province.
In the afternoon, Koshi, Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpashchim provinces’ hilly regions are expected to have partly to generally cloudy conditions, while the rest of the country will experience mainly clear skies.
Light rain is possible in some areas of Sudurpashchim Province.
Light snowfall is likely in some high-altitude areas of Karnali and Sudurpashchim provinces, as well as a few places in the high hills and Himalayan regions of Koshi and Gandaki provinces.
During the night, partial cloud cover is expected in the hilly areas of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces, while the rest of the country will remain mostly clear.
Light snowfall is possible in isolated locations of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces’ high hills and Himalayan regions.
