KATHMANDU: Machhindra FC secured the KP Oli Cup title, with Sanish Shrestha being named the tournament’s Most Valuable Player (MVP).

He was awarded Rs 100,000 and a Yamaha motorcycle.

Machhindra players dominated the individual awards as well. Stephen Janaha Jali finished as the top scorer, while Bishal Shrestha was named the best goalkeeper.

Army’s Nirajan Dhami was recognized as the emerging player.

Each of them received Rs 50,000 and a Yamaha motorcycle.

In the final match at Dasharath Stadium, Machhindra FC defeated Tribhuvan Army FC 2-0, completing a hat-trick of KP Oli Cup titles.

The champions received Rs 1,511,111, while the runners-up, Army, took home Rs 500,000.
