PSO of Sudurpaschim Speaker dies in scooter accident

KATHMANDU: Deputy Inspector of Police (SI) Yogendra Bohara, the personal security officer (PSO) of Sudurpaschim Province Assembly Speaker Bhim Bhandari, has died in a scooter accident.

The accident occurred on Monday afternoon near the Electricity Office in Godawari Municipality-2, along the six-lane Dhangadhi-Attariya road.

Bohara, 34, lost control of his scooter (Sudurpaschim Province 01-009 P 3429) and suffered critical injuries.

He was rushed to Seti Provincial Hospital for treatment but succumbed to his injuries, according to the Kailali District Police Office.
