KATHMANDU: The Nepali film Janai Harayeko Bahun is set to hit theatres on 26 Aug 2025 (Haritalika Teej), with a simultaneous release in Nepal and abroad.

The recently released motion poster, which captured significant attention, hints at a compelling story of a son’s struggles to bring happiness to his mother.

Directed by Himal Nyaupane in his debut project, the film also features actor Manish Raut as the associate director.

Written by Bhanu Bhakta Dhakal, the screenplay and dialogues promise an engaging narrative that portrays the challenges faced by a man moving from a village to the city and the unexpected events that reshape his life.

Produced by Paperclip Pvt. Ltd., the film boasts a strong technical team, including cinematographer Navin Gurung, creative director Samrat Maharjan (Jack), and VFX supervisor Mayank Nirola.
