Human Resource Chief of Lotse, Pankaj Malla, confirmed the system’s implementation, emphasizing its role in streamlining travel services.

KATHMANDU: Kathmandu’s New Bus Park in Gongabu has transitioned all ticket counters to an online ticketing system, making it more technology-friendly and convenient for passengers.
Operated by Lotse Multipurpose Pvt. Ltd. in coordination with Kathmandu Metropolitan City, the bus park now offers online ticketing from all 47 counters.
Human Resource Chief of Lotse, Pankaj Malla, confirmed the system’s implementation, emphasizing its role in streamlining travel services.
Currently, buses from the New Bus Park connect 70 districts across Nepal. However, routes to Sindhupalchowk, Okhaldhunga, Dolakha, Ramechhap, and Khotang primarily operate from Koteshwar.
Additionally, buses depart from Kalanki, Old Bus Park, Gaushala, Koteshwar, and Sorhakhutte to different parts of the country.
Kathmandu Metropolitan City aims to centralize all inter-district bus services at the New Bus Park for better management.
Established in 1999 under a public-private partnership between the metropolis and Lotse, the facility offers separate parking areas for city and long-route buses.
The bus park accommodates up to 800 vehicles, with 350 to 400 buses operating daily to various districts.
