Former Crown Prince Paras suffers heart attack

KATHMANDU: Former Crown Prince Paras Shah suffered a heart attack on Sunday evening and was rushed to Norvic Hospital, where he underwent angioplasty.

His health condition is currently improving.

This is reported to be his fourth heart attack, following previous cardiac issues in 2007, 2015, and 2019.

Shah has now been admitted to HAMS Hospital in Mandikhatar after experiencing heart-related discomfort. He has received treatments both in Nepal and abroad for his heart condition.

Former King Gyanendra Shah, former Queen Komal Shah, and former Crown Princess Himani Shah visited the hospital to check on his condition.

Shah remains under 24-hour observation, and no major complications have been reported, according to the hospital.
