Three Nepali films released on Mahashivaratri

KATHMANDU: Marking the occasion of Mahashivaratri, three Nepali films—Mayavi, Feri Resham Filili, and Laaj Sharanam—have been released nationwide today.
Feri Resham Filili, directed by Niraj Maharjan, features actors Vinay, Supushpa, Kameshwar, Nir Shah, Prakash Ghimire, Shishir Wangdel, Rabindra Jha, Laxmi Giri, Mahesh Tripathi, Avenraj Upreti, and Maxam Gaudel. While the original Resham Filili director Pranab Joshi and actress Menuka Pradhan are absent, most of the previous team remains unchanged.
Mayavi, directed by Diwakar Bhattarai, stars Pal Shah, Deepika Prasai, and Samim Khan alongside Prashant Tamrakar, Sushil Sitaula, Karishma Shrestha, Lakshmi Giri, Anshu Maharjan, Ravi Dangol, Rajaram Paudel, and Rama Prasai.
Laaj Sharanam has been produced by the team behind the popular comedy series Sakkigoni. Directed by Kumar Kattel, the film stars Sitaram Kattel (Dhurmus) in the lead role, with Bijay Baral, Arjun Ghimire, Sagar Lamsal, Harish Niraula, Priyana Acharya, Mahesh Tripathi, Arpan Thapa, Renu Yogi, Vijay Lama, Mukunda Shrestha, and Mala Limbu in supporting roles.
Produced under the banner of JPT Creation, the film is backed by producer Naveen Shrestha, with Ram Naresh Shah and Sirjana Khadka as co-producers.
