Disabled teenager receives citizenship at home

KATHMANDU: Myagde Rural Municipality-2’s 18-year-old disabled teenager, Sujan Ranabhat, was granted a citizenship certificate at his home on Tuesday.

Chief District Officer Shyam Krishna Thapa stated that since people with disabilities face difficulties visiting the office, the administration reached out to provide the service at home.

Sujan, born on Dec 25, 2006, has a congenital disability.
