Movie ‘Koshedhunga’ begins filming

KATHMANDU: The much-anticipated Nepali movie ‘Koshedhunga’ has officially begun filming following its auspicious muhurat ceremony in Chyasal.
The film is directed by Saroj Paudel, who gained widespread recognition for his historical blockbuster ‘Purna Bahadurko Sarangi’.
The muhurat ceremony was held in the presence of the director, producers, cast, and crew.
The film’s shooting kicked off on the same day, with the initial schedule set in Kathmandu for about a week before moving to Syangja for the remaining sequences.
Srishti Pant plays the lead role in this female-centric film, accompanied by Aryan Sigdel, Saroj Khanal, Bishal Pahadi, Shekhar Chapagain, Siru Bista, Uddhav Sapkota, Sandhya Rana, Sabita Regmi, and others.
Presented by Nardevi Films, the movie is produced by Previll Kandel and Kishor Anurag, with Dinesh Khadka as the executive producer.
The film’s cinematography is handled by Babu Shrestha, while Surendra Paudel will take charge of editing.
The music is composed by Rhythm Kandel and Ashish Aviral, with Subalmani Sapkota as the casting director.
After the massive success of ‘Purna Bahadurko Sarangi’, which grossed nearly 50 crore in Nepal, audiences have high expectations from Saroj Paudel’s new directorial venture.
According to the production team, ‘Koshedhunga’ is set to release in 2082 BS.
