KATHMANDU: Chair of the CPN (Maoist Centre) and former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has emphasized that the awakening campaign focused on the East-West Postal Highway will help in understanding and addressing the problems of the people.

Speaking at a press conference organized today by the Press Centre Nepal, Morang branch, he expressed confidence that the campaign would be useful in addressing the issues faced by indigenous communities, tribes, and Madhesi populations in the southern regions, while also initiating solutions.

He stated, “The awakening campaign is essential for economic development and will help increase production and productivity. This campaign, from Mechi to Mahakali, is also aimed at promoting good governance.” Prachanda also mentioned that the public is enthusiastic about the campaign, reaffirming that the Nepal Communist Party (Maoist Centre) is the vehicle of change.

The chairman further highlighted that if Nepal had a directly elected executive head, political instability would end, and the people’s desire for peace and prosperity would be fulfilled.
