KATHMANDU: Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) General Secretary and Movement Mobilization Committee Coordinator Dr. Dhawal Shumsher Rana has claimed that the people of Sudurpashchim have sounded the bugle against the republic from Dhangadhi, and its conclusion will be seen in Kathmandu in Chaith.

“People have raised their voices against the republic from Dhangadhi, and the final outcome will be visible in Kathmandu in Chaith,” Rana said on Tuesday while addressing a grand motorcycle rally organized by RPP.

RPP has planned to organize motorcycle rallies and public gatherings in major cities across all seven provinces throughout Falgun, culminating in a Kathmandu-centered movement in Chaith.

The party claims this movement will be decisive.

Emphasizing a peaceful approach, Rana stated that RPP would not resort to violence against citizens, the army, or the police.

Instead, he reiterated the party’s commitment to abolishing the republic, federalism, and secularism through peaceful public mobilization. He stressed the need to establish a monarchy-led democracy and restore Nepal as a Sanatan Hindu kingdom.

Addressing the event, Rana, who is also a Member of Parliament, blamed the republic, federalism, and corruption for pushing Nepal into crisis, increasing debt, and pushing the country towards bankruptcy. The motorcycle rally from Attariya to Dhangadhi turned into a mass gathering, where he urged all forces opposing the current system to unite against disorder.

“Supporters of monarchy, Sanatan Hindu kingdom, and opponents of republic, federalism, and corruption must unite to save the country. It is time to rise for the restoration of the monarchy,” he asserted.

Referring to former King Gyanendra’s call for public support, Rana emphasized that all Nepali citizens must now step forward to save the nation.

“It is now clear that federalism and secularism were imposed on Nepal with foreign funding. The Nepali people have rejected them,” Rana said.

He further pledged to tackle the massive cooperative fraud that has victimized millions and to remove corrupt leaders from the state.

“Industries have shut down, unemployment has skyrocketed, and cooperative scams have displaced millions,” Rana said, stressing the urgent need for change.
