Education Minister Bhattarai hospitalized

KATHMANDU: Education, Science, and Technology Minister Bidya Bhattarai has been admitted to Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH).

According to sources, she was hospitalized after experiencing fever, cough, and throat pain.

She had visited the hospital last Friday, where doctors advised her to be admitted.

She has been receiving treatment in a cabin since then.

“The initial issue was related to ENT, and her condition is improving. However, doctors suspect tuberculosis, and further tests are being conducted,” the source said.

A doctor involved in her treatment confirmed that her ear, nose, and throat issues are improving.

Meanwhile, Health Minister Pradeep Paudel visited the hospital this morning to inquire about her health condition.
