Surya Nepal NPGA Tour Championship tees begins tomorrow
The event will be played over 72 holes from 25th February and conclude on 28th February.

KATHMANDU: The fifth event of the Surya Nepal Golf Tour 2024-25, the Surya Nepal NPGA Tour Championship, will tee off on Monday at Gokarna Golf Club.
The event will be played over 72 holes from 25th February and conclude on 28th February.
Cut will be applied after completion of 36 holes; the top 21 pros and ties will make their journey to the final 36 holes along with top amateurs who survive the pro cut.
30 professional golfers will test their skills for a total prize money of Rs 882,000. The winner of the event will bag Rs 150000, the runner–up will earn Rs 100,000, and the third will get Rs 75000.
The top 21 places will earn prize money. 10 amateurs will rub shoulders with the professionals.
Top professionals Bhuwan Nagarkoti, Niraj Tamang, Rabi Khadka, Dinesh Prajapati, Jayaram Shrestha, Dhana Thapa and Sanjay Lama are expected to show some top-class golf over the next few days.
They will face a strong challenge from top-seeded amateurs Sadbhav Acharya and Rahul Bishwokarma.
