Nepal can progress rapidly with wise leadership: Former NSU Central Members

KATHMANDU: Former central committee members of the Nepal Students’ Union (NSU) have stated that if the country’s leadership governs wisely, Nepal can achieve rapid progress and reach the level of a developed nation in a short time.

Speaking at a grand gathering and reunion program organized by NSU in Kathmandu, they emphasized the role of effective leadership in national development.

Former NSU central member Ranjit Karna claimed that all major political movements in Nepal have been successful under the leadership of the Nepali Congress.

He asserted that the current era is one of economic prosperity and development, which only the Congress can lead. He also accused new political parties of misleading the people.

The reunion program, held on Feb 21-22 in Bhaktapur, concluded with the issuance of the Nagarkot Declaration, aimed at strengthening the party.
