Tribhuvan Army Club advances to KP Oli Cup semifinals

KATHMANDU: Tribhuvan Army Club secured a spot in the semifinals of the KP Oli Cup Championship by defeating Nepal Police Club 2-0.

In the match held on Monday at the ANFA Complex in Satdobato, Lalitpur, Army dominated with goals from Nawayug Shrestha and Dinesh Yonjan.

Nawayug scored in the 19th minute, while Dinesh netted the second goal in the 81st minute.

Later today, at 3 PM, hosts KP Oli FC will face New Road Team (NRT) in the second match of the day.

The tournament, organized by the National Youth Association Nepal, features nine participating teams and will run until Falgun 18.

The champion will receive Rs 15,11,111, while the runner-up will take home Rs 5,00,000.
