KATHMANDU: A major achievement has been made in the development of Nepal’s cricket infrastructure with the completion of the installation of five floodlights at the Extratech Oval Cricket Ground in Tilottama-17, Rupandehi.

With the installation of the floodlights, Nepalese cricket has entered a new phase, said Vinod Kunwar, the Managing Director.

According to him, testing of the floodlights will begin today.

Earlier, due to security concerns, spectators were requested not to enter the field for three days.

Kunwar expressed his gratitude to the cricket fans for their cooperation in accepting the request. Now, the audience will be able to watch matches at the venue.

However, access to the field is currently restricted due to preparations for the Prime Minister Cup cricket tournament.

It is believed that with the support, encouragement, and enthusiasm of Nepalese cricket fans, sports development in the country will continue to thrive.
