Modrić opened the scoring in the 41st minute, giving Madrid the lead.

Júnior then doubled the advantage in the 83rd minute, ensuring a comfortable victory.

With this win, Real Madrid now has 54 points from 25 matches.

Barcelona, also on 54 points, holds the top spot due to a superior goal difference.
