Postpartum woman airlifted from Achham due to excessive bleeding

KATHMANDU: A 35-year-old woman from Kamalbazar Municipality-8, Achham, was airlifted to a hospital today after experiencing severe postpartum bleeding.

According to Assistant Chief District Officer Santosh BK, Rangadevi Bhandari had given birth but suffered continuous bleeding, prompting an emergency rescue.

She was airlifted under the President’s Women Upliftment Program in coordination with the District Administration Office, Achham.
