Tipper hits motorcycle in Siraha, killing 57-year-old rider

KATHMANDU: A motorcycle rider lost his life after being hit by a tipper truck in Dhangadhimai Municipality-10, Siraha, on Sunday morning.

The accident occurred when a tipper (Province 2-01-001 Ka 0121) struck a motorcycle (Province 2-03-016 P 0834), fatally injuring 57-year-old Ajbalal Sah of Mirchaiya Municipality-5.

He was rushed to Provincial Hospital, Lahan, where he succumbed to his injuries during treatment.

Police have taken the tipper driver into custody and are investigating the incident.
