Youth electrocuted to death while fishing in Jhapa

KATHMANDU: Sushil Limbu, a 20-year-old resident of Haldibari Rural Municipality-3, Jhapa, died of electrocution on Saturday night.

He was severely injured while using an electric wire to catch fish in the Dama River at Namuna Basti, Buddhashanti-1. He was rushed to B&C Hospital in Birtamode, where he succumbed to his injuries during treatment.

Police are conducting further investigations into the incident.
