Fire breaks out at Civil Homes in Lalitpur

KATHMANDU: Lalitpur’s Sunakothi witnessed a fire incident at Block 5 of Civil Homes.

The fire started from an oil lamp in the prayer room on the upper floor of the house.

According to DSP Dil Bahadur Malla of Chapagaun Police Station, the fire broke out on Sunday morning, and efforts to control it were underway.

Two fire engines from Lalitpur Metropolitan City, along with Nepal Police, municipal police, and other teams, were deployed to douse the flames.

The fire is now almost under control.
