Body of missing motorcyclist in Trishuli river recovered

KATHMANDU: The body of Rohit Rana, who went missing after a motorcycle accident at the No. 3 Bridge in Ichchhakamana Rural Municipality-5, Chitwan, has been recovered from the Trishuli River.
A team of divers from the Armed Police Force (APF) Disaster Management Training Center in Kurintar, led by APF Inspector Bhul Bahadur Thapa, retrieved the body at 9:25 AM on Sunday, February 11.
Rana had been missing since Feb 14, when his motorcycle (Ba 06-02 P 9204) met with an accident around 11:40 AM while traveling from Narayanghat to Muglin.
APF divers had been continuously deployed for his search.
According to family members, Rana was serving in the Indian Army and was on his way to Kathmandu from his home in Chitwan.
