Tender process initiated for TIA parking management

KATHMANDU: The tender process for managing the parking areas in front of the Airlines Building and Domestic Terminal at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) has been initiated.

According to a notice issued today by the Civil Aviation Office, Gauchar, interested companies and individuals are invited to submit bid forms under the specified conditions.

In the past, frequent complaints have been raised regarding excessive parking fees at the airport. Passengers and service users have expressed dissatisfaction over high charges.

With the new tender process underway, the public is keen to know how the new parking rates will be structured.
