Heavy snowfall hits Pathibhara

KATHMANDU: Taplejung’s Pathibhara (Mukumlung) area experienced heavy snowfall last night, covering the sacred site and surrounding regions at an altitude of 3,794 meters.
According to Rajendra Mahat, a member of the Pathibhara Area Development Committee, this is the heaviest snowfall of the year, following moderate snowfall last month.
Snowfall has taken place up to Kaflepati.
Despite the conditions, pilgrims visiting Pathibhara Dham remain unaffected, said Prajin Hangbang, the committee’s executive director.

Today, around 300 pilgrims successfully performed pooja at Pathibhara Dham, as confirmed by the committee.
