Nepali entrepreneur Acharya dies in Qatar road accident

KATHMANDU: Nepali entrepreneur and social worker Jhabindra Acharya has passed away in a road accident in Qatar.

Originally from Malika Rural Municipality, Gulmi, the 40-year-old Acharya sustained critical injuries and was undergoing treatment at Hamad Hospital.

Despite doctors’ efforts, he could not survive.

Acharya was actively involved in the Nepali community and served as the Vice Treasurer of the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) National Coordination Council, Qatar.

He was also the Vice Chair of the Lumbini Province Coordination Council, Qatar, and a Senior Advisor of the Gulmi Sewa Samaj, Qatar.

His mortal remains are currently kept at the mortuary center of Hamad Hospital in Sanaiya, Qatar.

The loss of Acharya, known for his dedication to social work, has deeply saddened the Nepali community in Qatar.
