Free surgical eye camp benefits 1,037 individuals including nonagenarians
A total of 175 individuals regained their eyesight after undergoing cataract surgery at the eye camps.

SARLAHI: Nar Bahadur Khadka, 91, of Hariwan Municipality-8 in Sarlahi is overjoyed after regaining his eyesight.
Khadka, who had been suffering from a cataract problem for a long time, regained his eyesight after undergoing cataract surgery at a free surgical eye camp organized in Hariwan by Nepal Netra Jyoti Sangh.
He expressed that his feelings of joy after regaining eyesight are beyond telling.
Ram Bilas Mahato, 91, and Ganesh Man Ghising, 90, from Hariwan Municipality have the similar stories to share after regaining eyesight.
A total of 175 individuals regained their eyesight after undergoing cataract surgery at the eye camps.
In total, 1,037 local people received free services for free at the eye camps organized in five areas in Hariwan and Barahathawa Municipalities.
Likewise, 150 people were provided with eyeglasses for free at the camps.
