Royal Enfield mega ride concludes grandly in Nepalgunj, boosting tourism

KATHMANDU: Nepalgunj witnessed a spectacular ‘Royal Enfield Mega Ride’, a thrilling initiative aimed at elevating tourism promotion to new heights.

The adventurous journey commenced from the Royal Enfield showroom in Nepalgunj, covering a scenic city tour before concluding at Gabhar Valley.

Massive Participation & Distinguished Guests

The event saw over 75 passionate Royal Enfield riders participating in the grand ride.

Nepalgunj Sub-Metropolitan City Mayor Prashant Bista graced the occasion as the chief guest, while Banke District Chief Officer Khagendra Prasad Rijal attended as the special guest.

Other notable dignitaries included Superintendent of Police (SP) Tul Bikram Karki from Nepal Police and SP Shobhakant Khanal from the Armed Police Force.

Flag-off & Special Participants

The ride was officially flagged off by Chief District Officer Rijal and Mayor Bista. Adding to the excitement, renowned female rider and professional bike trainer Sheetal Giri joined the event from Kathmandu.

Additionally, popular vloggers Vishal Thapa and Supreme Vlog became part of the thrilling journey, as confirmed by the organizers.

A Warm Welcome at Gabhar Valley

After a mesmerizing Nepalgunj city tour, the riders reached Gabhar Valley, where the local community extended a grand traditional welcome with Khada (ceremonial scarves) and cultural dance performances.

The event not only promoted motorcycle tourism but also highlighted the rich cultural heritage and natural beauty of the region.

One of the major attractions of the event was the Royal Enfield Musical Chair Competition, where Rakesh ‘Rocky’ emerged victorious.

The concluding ceremony at the Nepalgunj showroom honored Dasharath Chand as the most disciplined and friendly Royal Enfield rider of the event.
