Woman dies of electrocution in Siraha

KATHMANDU: Sangita Mahato, 40, of Phulkaha, Dhangadhimai Municipality-7, Siraha, died after being electrocuted on Tuesday evening.

She sustained critical injuries while operating an electric motor to pump water in her vegetable field.

Mahato was rushed to Metro Megha Healthcare in Kasaha, where she succumbed to her injuries during treatment.

Police are investigating the incident.
