Six held in murder investigation after body found near Balkhu

KATHMANDU: Six individuals have been arrested in connection with the suspected murder of a man found dead near the Balkhu vegetable market.

Police detained the suspects, all of whom are laborers, during the course of their investigation.

The victim, identified as Ramkrishna Dahal from Makwanpur, was found deceased at a tin-roofed shack in Balkhu, where he had been staying as a tenant of Mohan Basnet.

According to SSP Bishwo Adhikari of the Kathmandu Police Complex, the investigation is ongoing, and signs of head injuries were found on the deceased.

The arrested suspects were reportedly cohabitants of the victim.
