Mayor Balen highlights role of art & music in fostering student creativity
Mayor Shah highlighted that art not only nurtures creativity but also aids in enhancing leadership skills among students.
KATHMANDU: Kathmandu Metropolitan City Mayor, Balen Shah, has stated that art and music help bring out the creativity of students.
While addressing the PL Singh Art Competition event organized by Kathmandu Metropolitan City-7 on Wednesday, he emphasized the importance of involving students in creative activities beyond academics.
He pointed out that students spend a significant amount of time in school and should engage in such activities to foster their development.
Mayor Shah highlighted that art not only nurtures creativity but also aids in enhancing leadership skills among students.
He also stressed the importance of teaching students about the first Mayor of Kathmandu, Premlal Singh, who he said played a key role in opening doors for development in the city.
The Metropolitan City has been organizing various educational programs to encourage students’ participation in creative activities.
