PM Oli emphasizes youth empowerment for nation’s prosperity

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has reaffirmed the government’s commitment to empowering the youth as a key strategy for national prosperity.
Speaking at an event held at the Army Pavilion, Tundikhel, on the occasion of Democracy Day on Wednesday, PM Oli stated that true democracy ensures national progress and public welfare.
He highlighted that a complete democracy advocates for equal rights, opportunities, social justice, security, and dignity for all citizens.
Despite rising public expectations and challenges, he said the government is advancing systematically by balancing institutional capacity and governance.
Emphasizing that the youth are the nation’s future, he underscored the government’s initiatives to provide education, healthcare, employment, and entrepreneurial opportunities through startup programs.
PM Oli reiterated the commitment to making democracy more transparent and accountable while eliminating inequality, poverty, and corruption. He stressed that economic growth indicators are crucial foundations for sustainable governance.
Marking Falgun 7 as a day to honor the relentless struggles of past democratic heroes, he called for collective efforts to fulfill the nation’s aspirations for good governance, development, and prosperity.
He urged all citizens to unite in achieving the national vision of effective governance and socio-economic transformation.
