Gold prices surge

KATHMANDU: The price of gold has surged in the Nepalese market.

According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, gold prices increased by Rs 1,100 per tola on Wednesday.

As of today, fine gold is being traded at Rs 170,500 per tola, up from Rs 169,400 per tola on Tuesday.

Similarly, silver prices have also risen by Rs 15 per tola, reaching Rs 1,985 per tola.

On Tuesday, silver was traded at Rs 1,970 per tola.
