Bus from Surkhet to Kathmandu crashes in Dang, 14 injured
Most of the injured sustained minor injuries and were discharged after treatment.

KATHMANDU: Fourteen passengers were injured when a bus traveling from Surkhet to Kathmandu met with an accident in Babai, Dang, late last night.
The bus, registered under Karnali Province (02-001-Kha-0701), veered off the road near Tallo Twangkhola in Babai Rural Municipality-2 at around 9:30 PM on the East-West Highway, according to Inspector Kabiraj Rokaya of the District Police Office, Dang.
Most of the injured sustained minor injuries and were discharged after treatment.
However, some with severe injuries were referred to Kohalpur for further medical care, while others are receiving treatment at Rapti Provincial Hospital.
Police confirmed that all injured passengers are out of danger, and an investigation is underway to determine the cause of the accident.
