Sanima Capital receives SEBON approval for “Sanima Flexi Fund”

KATHMANDU: Sanima Bank Limited, through its subsidiary Sanima Capital Limited, has received approval from the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) to launch the open-ended mutual fund scheme, Sanima Flexi Fund.

Fund Size & Public Offering

The initial approved fund size is Rs 1 billion. Out of the total 100 million units, 40 million units will be offered to the public in the first phase.

Unit Allocation & Reserved Quota

  • 15% (15 million units) are reserved:
    • 13% (13 million units) for promoter Sanima Bank Limited
    • 2% (2 million units) for fund manager Sanima Capital Limited
  • Remaining 25 million units will be issued to the general public.

Key Features of the Open-Ended Fund

Sanima Flexi Fund is an open-ended scheme, meaning its units will not be listed on the stock exchange. Investors can continuously buy or sell units through Sanima Capital and designated distributors as per the Mutual Fund Regulations, 2067.

Investment Process

Investors can apply for units through Sanima Capital’s office, designated distributors, or online platforms. The fund also provides an option for Systematic Investment Plan (SIP) for regular investments.

Issue Date & Investment Limit

  • The public issue will open from Falgun 6 to Falgun 11 (earliest) and may extend up to Falgun 20 (if necessary).
  • The minimum investment is Rs 1,000, while the maximum is Rs 40 million per investor.
  • Applications can be submitted via C-ASBA banks or the Mero Share portal.
