KATHMANDU: In Monday’s meeting of the House of Representatives, a proposal to hold a general discussion on the “Nepal Citizenship (Second Amendment) Bill, 2081” was approved.

This proposal had been deferred in the meeting on Feb 16 due to insufficient quorum.

Additionally, during today’s session, the “Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Bill, 2081,” originating from the National Assembly, was tabled with a message.

The bill was presented by the Secretary of the House of Representatives, Harkaraj Rai.

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli’s representative, Minister for Communications and Information Technology Prithvi Subba Gurung, also tabled the “Sixth Annual Report (Fiscal Year 2079/80)” and “Seventh Annual Report (Fiscal Year 2080/81)” of the National Security Council.
