Nepali student found dead in India

KATHMANDU: A Nepali student, Prakriti Lamsal, has been found dead in India.

Lamsal, a third-year B.Tech student at KIIT University, was discovered lifeless in her hostel room in Bhubaneswar, Odisha.

According to Indian media reports, the university issued a statement claiming it was a case of suicide.

However, suspicions surrounding her death have sparked protests among students.

Her body has been sent to Capital Hospital for post-mortem examination.
