Arsenal defeats Leicester 2-0 in Premier League

KATHMANDU: Arsenal triumphed 2-0 over Leicester City on Saturday at Leicester’s home ground.

Both goals were scored by Mikel Moreno, who netted in the 81st and 87th minutes of the match.

With this victory, Arsenal sits in second place with 53 points from 25 matches. Leicester remains in 19th place with just 17 points from the same number of games.

In other Saturday fixtures, Brighton secured a 3-0 win over Chelsea at home, while Manchester City dominated Newcastle 4-0.

West Ham was defeated 1-0 by Brentford, Bournemouth beat Southampton 3-1, Fulham triumphed 2-1 over Nottingham Forest, and Everton won 2-1 against Crystal Palace.

Aston Villa and Ipswich ended in a 1-1 draw.
