Ruling party whips meet at UML parliamentary office

KATHMANDU: A meeting of chief whips from ruling parties is underway at the CPN-UML parliamentary office in Singha Durbar.

The meeting includes chief whips from both the House of Representatives and the National Assembly.

According to UML Chief Whip Mahesh Bartaula, the discussion is focused on incorporating various ordinances introduced by the government into the parliamentary agenda.

The meeting primarily aims to strategize on how to advance specific ordinances.

Earlier on Saturday, the ruling parties had decided to move forward with five ordinances in the parliament, excluding the land-related ordinance.

Today’s meeting is expected to provide a clearer direction on the procedural aspects of these ordinances.
