KATHMANDU: The highly anticipated Royal Enfield Maha Ride has successfully concluded, bringing together passionate riders for an unforgettable journey.

The ride commenced from the Royal Enfield showroom in Janakpur and extended to Sindhuli, with the primary objectives of promoting road safety, domestic tourism, disciplined riding, brotherhood, and strengthening the Royal Enfield community, according to the organizers.

A Grand and Well-Planned Ride

The journey began in Janakpur, with a brief stop at Bardibas, where additional riders joined, making the event even more vibrant.

At the Royal Enfield showroom in Bardibas, 10 more riders joined, bringing the total count to 61 participants.

Formal Inauguration & Key Figures

The event was formally inaugurated by Ranjit Yadav, Secretary of the Ministry of Transport, Madhesh Province. The flag-off ceremony was led by Meghraj Paudel (Director, Alpha Automotive), Dipesh Shrestha (National Cart Head), and Abhishek Goenka (Director, Narayani Motors).

During the opening ceremony, Secretary Ranjit Yadav emphasized the importance of road safety and the positive impact of disciplined riding events. Other dignitaries also shared insights on how such initiatives foster a safer riding culture and contribute to community building.

Under the leadership of Road Captain Bimal Shrestha, all riders maintained discipline throughout the journey.

A key highlight of the ride was a cultural and spiritual visit to the historic Janaki Temple in Janakpur, showcasing the blend of religious devotion and cultural heritage promotion.

Promoting Domestic Tourism: Supporting the “Ghumau Madhesh, Bujhau Madhesh” campaign by introducing Nepal’s scenic destinations.
