Tanka Budhathoki ventures into film direction with Maan Binako Dhan

KATHMANDU: Singer and composer Tanka Budhathoki is set to venture into film production and direction.
He will be producing and directing a movie titled Maan Binako Dhan.

Saroj Khanal held the clapboard, and young entrepreneur Tika Budhathoki cracked the coconut. Child singer and actor Ashok Darji and Santosh Panta presented the muhurat shirt for the film.
The shooting of the movie officially began today.
In this film, the lead role will be played by child singer Ashok Darji. Other prominent actors in the film include Saroj Khanal, Santosh Pant, Rama Thapaliya, Nita Dungana, Bhola Sapkota, Buddhi Tamang, Ramesh Bishwa Karma, Ravindra Jha, Utsav Sapkota, A.R. Budhathoki, Shankar Shrestha, Samragyee Thapa, Bina Raut, A.R. Budhathoki, Babu Parajuli, Raksha Shrestha, Priyanka Jha, Vinay Adhikari, Aryan Nepal, and Vijay Dangol, among others.
The story of the movie has been written by the producer-director, Tanka Budhathoki, while the screenplay and dialogues have been penned by Shivam Adhikari.
The film, focusing on a social theme, will be distributed by Banktesh Entertainment.
The movie’s producer is Vishnu Maya Mainali, with co-producers GP Sangroula, Lakshmi Giri, Vivek Nepal, and Vijaya Pandey. Minu Sharma (Sapana) serves as the executive producer.
Tank Budhathoki is responsible for the music, while the cinematography will be done by Saurabh Lama, choreography by Kabiraj Gahatraj, editing by Mitra D. Gurung, and Navraj Sharma will be the main assistant director.
