Putin invites Trump to Moscow, discusses Ukraine conflict resolution

KATHMANDU: Russian President Vladimir Putin has had a phone conversation with U.S. President Donald Trump.

The Russian president invited the U.S. president to visit Moscow.

Putin also expressed eagerness to welcome American officials in Moscow. The two leaders discussed the situation in Ukraine and the peaceful resolution of the conflict.

Trump emphasized the importance of a swift ceasefire and peaceful solutions, while Putin stressed the need to address the root causes of the Ukraine conflict.
