Prachanda inaugurates Malika Peace Park & helipad in Gulmi
The inauguration ceremony took place in the presence of local citizens, public representatives, and Malika Rural Municipality Chairperson Devi Ram Aryal.
KATHMANDU: CPN (Maoist Centre) Chair and former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ officially inaugurated a state-of-the-art helipad and the Malika Peace Park in Arkhabang, Malika Rural Municipality-4, today.
The inauguration ceremony took place in the presence of local citizens, public representatives, and Malika Rural Municipality Chairperson Devi Ram Aryal.
Prachanda highlighted that the newly constructed helipad is Nepal’s model for emergency response infrastructure, surpassing others across the country in quality.
He emphasized its potential to greatly assist in disaster rescue and relief operations for local communities.
Local residents expressed their satisfaction, noting that this event provided them with a unique opportunity to directly interact with the Maoist Centre Chair for the first time.
This marks Prachanda’s second visit to the district, where he took time to review the ongoing development projects within the municipality.
The inauguration of the helipad and park was followed by a public gathering, with Prachanda set to inaugurate the newly constructed administrative building of the Malika Rural Municipality soon.
Additionally, Prachanda is scheduled to inaugurate the Martyr’s Park in Dhurkot Rural Municipality later today.
