Tender approved for parapet & floodlights at TU Ground

KATHMANDU:  The tender for the construction of a parapet and installation of floodlights at the Tribhuvan University Cricket Ground in Kirtipur has been approved.

Separate tenders have been accepted for the international-standard parapet and floodlight installation.

The contract for the parapet has been awarded to the joint venture BKOI-KSDC-BG JV, which submitted a bid of Rs 43.77 million.

The contract for the floodlight installation has been awarded to Lalitpur-based Vishan-Ishwari Joint Venture, which bid Rs 42.19 million.

In accordance with the Public Procurement Act, the names of the awarded companies and other details are to be publicly announced.

The names of the contractors for the Tribhuvan University ground’s parapet and floodlights have been published as part of this process.

Previously, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli had decided to upgrade the Tribhuvan University ground after assuming office, and the Ministry of Urban Development prepared the DPR to call for the tenders accordingly.
