Man dies of electrocution while fishing

DANG: Suresh Gharti Magar, 38, from Madi Rural Municipality-3, Rolpa, died of electrocution while fishing in a canal in Lamahi Municipality-3, Tikuligadh, on Wednesday night.

Gharti Magar, who had been working at a local house, suffered severe injuries after coming into contact with an electric current while attempting to catch fish using electricity.

He was rushed to Lamahi Hospital, where he was pronounced dead during treatment.

Police are conducting further investigations into the incident.
